With a distribution network in Cairo, Alexandria, Ismailia and Upper Egypt, ConnectmeTV has captured 60% of the high-end receiver market to date. 

 

The Entrepreneur

Ahmed Metwally has over 15 years of experience in system development and sales for large federal governments and Fortune 500 firms including Microsoft, GE, UTC and Sony Electronics. He is Chairman and CEO of ConnectmeTV, Timeline Interactive and XTEAMS Consulting Services Corp. Metwally serves as advisory board member for several start-ups in Canada and the US. He authored technical books, articles and papers, holds Technology Patents and is a frequent speaker in Enterprise Architecture and Technical conferences.
 
In 2000, he was awarded a scholarship by Vengrowth Capital and Ontario Center of Research and Innovation for Executive entrepreneurship training as one of 40 high potential entrepreneurs in the province of Ontario in Canada. Metwally previously held several senior positions at Microsoft Inc and at ITWorx Inc. where he oversaw the technical delivery and sales of a major product that was later on acquired for $40M+. His experience and ventures span both the technological & entrepreneurial world for over 15 years.In 2010, Metwally was recognized by Endeavor Global, an international NGO, as a high impact entrepreneur who contributes to the social and economic growth of developing regions.
