Internationally recognized as the leading jewelry designer of the Arab world, AFJ is a family business that has evolved into the first Egyptian designer brand, gaining global recognition in the process. The appeal of AFJ's unique blend of traditional and modern cultural jewelry makes the company well-positioned to capture a larger share of the global market. Retail expansions started unfolding materializing in several local outlets, as well as standalone and distribution outlets in London, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain and Dubai.
Starting 2006, Endeavor Entrepreneurs Fatma Ghaly, Azza Fahmy's daughter took the helm as Managing Director. With a new marketing strategy and company vision, together with a structured organization, she now has all the elements needed to drive through the transformation from a small private business into a globally competitive establishment.Today, the Studio & Workshop is located in 6th of October Industrial City; and employs over 170 people varying between skilled labor, designers, engineers and marketers. Expansions are happening fast, and the company looks forward to an even more extensive presence in the Middle East and Europe, with the US soon to follow.

Founded as a one-woman show by jewelry designer Azza Fahmy, AFJ is now lead by business-savvy daughter Fatma Ghaly, who has taken the family business to where it is today; a renowned brand that continues to set the trend in high-end made jewelry design. For someone who received her B.A. in Oil Painting, this was no little feat. Since joining the company, Fatma has worked hard to turn the company into a global luxury brand. Growing up in workshops and jewelry stores, Fatma Ghaly gained her business experience hands on. As the eldest daughter of founder and chief designer Azza Fahmy, Fatma worked her way up from marketing executive to that of managing director, a position with a vital role of transforming the business from a local brand to an international luxury designer name.
